How the estimate works

Contract 1.0.0: dreamlife-us-adult-rarity-v1 uses the U.S. residents age 18 or older cohort, United States geography, and a 2024 benchmark assembled from explicitly versioned public-data anchors.

The central result is the correlation-damped geometric product of the selected marginal shares. Lower and upper option bands are recalculated with conservative formula exponents to produce an uncertainty interval. Leave-one-dimension-out sensitivity shows which selection changes the result most.

The output is an exact calculation under the disclosed contract, not a measured joint-population prevalence. Modeled proxy categories carry wider uncertainty bands. It is a self-reflection and discussion tool, not a medical, financial, dating, hiring, or social-worth score.

The separate county household-income calculator uses U.S. Census Bureau ACS Detailed Table B19001. It is a deterministic estimate from published income groups and always discloses the full group interval; it is not part of the dream-life rarity model.

The calculator intentionally does not answer “how rare would my dream wife be.” This contract models the user’s selected lifestyle bundle; it does not score another person’s worth, desirability, or dating availability.
